CHOOSING ZENDERS AS YOUR WEDDING VENUE

Having your wedding at Zenders ​is simple - you pick the space you want, the food you want, and the beverages you want! 

Our venue hire includes in-house furniture, ceremony backdrops, furniture, standard linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Kirsty, our function coordinator, is on hand to discuss and assist you with making decisions every step of the way. ​

CEREMONY

Your ceremony is where the magic happens, so you want a magic setting!

 

The Willow Lawn is a popular choice with the large branches of the established willow tree providing the perfect setting for the exchanging of vows. Those with ties to the Netherlands will feel right at home with the rarely used train tracks to the east and rural life visible around you. Add our white benches and decorations to fit your theme, and you've got the perfect location to say 'I do'.

The Orange Room is also a popular ceremony location, or indoor alternative should it be required. A bright space, this room provides natural light as it looks out to the Willow Lawn, with the opportunity to be decorated in a style reflective of the wedding couple. 

RECEPTION

The wedding couple, their family and friends - the wedding reception is for celebrating the start of the rest of your life!

The Zaal is our largest space with high ceilings, lots of natural light, exposed beams and wooden finishings. The permanent bar offers Good George on tap as well as our wide selection of bottled beer, wine and non alcoholic options. The half mezzanine offers a perfect spot for a lounge area or for the children to play, and the doors open up to the expansive courtyard and outdoor seating. 

For a smaller reception, the Orange Room is perfect: intimate, yet bright. Popular for family-style wedding receptions the space is also perfect for canape style occasions. The room opens to the courtyards on the northern and eastern side of the building and offers the opportunity for hire of the adjoining board room and bridal room if required. 

CEREMONY & RECEPTION

Having your entire wedding at Zenders guarantees you exclusive access to the entire venue side of the building for the day.

Included in full venue hire is the Bridal Room, a perfect place for the groomsmen to get ready and relax before the wedding begins (and ensuring those final touches are executed perfectly!). Organise a delicious platter to have with a few drinks, and be ready to welcome the guests as they arrive.

FUNCTION

MENUS

Our head chef has put together a selection of delicious menus to tantalise your tastebuds.

Our menus are designed to fit every wedding style, taste and budget. We also cater to dietaries and special requests. If you're after something a little more special, discuss your ideas with our wedding coordinator.

BEVERAGE SELECTION

Does your dream day include a champagne toast? Will you be serving granddads' favourite whiskey? Are you after delicious non-alcoholic options?

 

We have an extensive range of house beverages, including Good George tap beer, bottled beer, Villa Maria wine, standard spirits, and a wide selection of non-alcoholic options. 

PRICING STRUCTURE

We believe your wedding is unique, and each wedding may have different requirements. For this reason, we provide a personalised proposal for your event. 

For a price indication, ceremony hire starts at $750 and reception hire starts at $3,000 for the Orange Room and $5,500 for the Zaal.
